Gringa premieres on Voddler.com
Gringa stars the Swedish actress Gunilla Röör and the Peruvian musician/actor Nivardo Carillo in the lead roles.
From the reviews:
“Equipped with protecting angels and dressed as a Midnight Cowboy (even Gringa’s leading theme reminds you of that movie) Manuel starts hitting on the blond tourists around the square Plaza de Armas… Gringa has a good main story and good actors, and the supernatural elements work well…”
SvD Jeanette Gentele
“.. a good little story about male fortune hunters in the third world and European dreams…scenes like when Manuel sells his tape recorder…on the market and drinks up the money with other destitudes in a bar, or the scenes showing the fellowship between the Gigolos, have a surprising freshness, melancholi and nakedness.”
DN Kerstin Gezelius
“Being one of the best actresses of her generation one sometime wonders why Gunilla Röör isn’t seen more often on the white screen…”
AFTONBLADET Jan-Olov Andersson
